La fabrique du livre à Byzance / Jean Irigoin

This collection brings together forty-seven contributions that Jean Irigoin published between 1951 and 2006. They constitute a major part of his scientific work, that which he devoted to paleography and codicology, and they gave a decisive impulse to the study of the Greek book in Byzantium by illuminating the historical and philological approach of the texts through these two complementary disciplines. Several of these articles were landmark in the sense that they marked the development of subsequent research on Byzantine manuscripts and are still essential reference articles.
