

Edda Vardanyan obtained her PhD in Art History, in 2001, from the École Pratique des Hautes Études (Sorbonne) with a thesis on “The miniaturist Minas, 15th century“. Since 2002, she is an associated scholar at the Centre d’histoire et civilisation de Byzance (Paris). In 2012, she was co-curator of the exhibition Reflections of Armenia: Manuscripts and Religious Art organized at the Scriptorial d'Avranches– Musée des Manuscrits du Mont Saint-Michel.
