Prosopographie chrétienne du Bas-Empire 3: Diocèse d’Asie (325-641)

Repertory with one thousand four hundred and two individual entries, including all the clerks, monks, moniales and ascetics known through the literary, narrative, hagiographic, consular, legal, epigraphic sources, in activity between the early IVth century and the middle of the VIIth century in the civil diocese of Asia : this included eleven continental provinces in Western Asia Minor and an island province with the Dodecanese and part of the Cyclades. The book is completed with a list of bishoprics, a list of the episcopal annals and a bibliography of sources and modern works.
